Junior HealthTech Fellowship
at the Center for Primary Care
Health care innovation in high school
The Junior HealthTech Fellowship is designed to expose 11th-grade high school students to career opportunities in STEM and healthcare innovation. Students practice the biodesign innovation framework over seven months to learn 21st-century skills including collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and solution-generation skills. The curriculum is designed with an emphasis on empowering students to design their career pathway.
The program is facilitated by professionals from the full-time HMS Healthtech Fellowship at the Center for Primary Care. These professionals mentor in the high school students and lead enriching educational activities on a monthly basis.
The Junior Fellowship program is a partnership between Harvard HealthTech and Brooke High School.
